Pet cancer cases and patterns of treatment at a Spanish veterinary teaching hospital: a retrospective study from 2015 to 2024.

A retrospective study conducted at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the University of León, Spain, from 2015 to 2024, analyzed 123 pet cancer cases, comprising 107 dogs and 16 cats. The mean annual incidence risk was 530 per 100,000 animals. The majority of cases were in dogs (87.0%), with a higher prevalence in females (62.6%) and purebred animals (77.2%).
