This retrospective study evaluated the safety and efficacy of angle-stable interlocking nails for treating diaphyseal femoral fractures in skeletally immature dogs. Ten juvenile dogs were surgically stabilized between 2010 and 2023, with radiographic and clinical assessment performed at skeletal maturity. Standardized orthopedic examinations included Canine Brief Pain Inventory scoring and comprehensive radiographic analysis measuring anatomic and mechanical angles in frontal and sagittal planes. Results demonstrated excellent pain control, with six dogs achieving zero pain scores and three showing minimal pain (≤10/100).
