Subjects received one drop of 0.002% OMDI in one eye and artificial tears in the contralateral eye, with IOP and pupil diameter measurements recorded at baseline and multiple time points up to 32-36 hours post-administration. Results demonstrated significant IOP reduction in both groups without inducing miosis. Normal cats showed maximum IOP reduction of 7.3 mmHg (43.5%) lasting up to 12 hours, while FCG cats achieved maximum reduction of 16.7 mmHg (60.2%) sustained for 2-8 hours post-instillation. No ocular irritation was observed. These findings suggest topical EP2 agonists represent a promising novel therapeutic option for feline glaucoma management, with results informing appropriate dosing intervals for future investigations.
