Both resolved with medical management. The findings suggest that withholding routine prophylactic antibiotics in eyelid and third eyelid surgery does not increase postoperative complication rates when selective criteria-based protocols are implemented, supporting antimicrobial stewardship in veterinary ophthalmology.
