Dorsal measurements showed significantly greater ICA and ciliary cleft entrance width compared to temporal measurements, while ciliary cleft length was greater temporally. The authors recommend performing UBM in dim light conditions as this best represents clinical practice settings and provided superior image quality, while acknowledging that light intensity minimally impacts most ciliary cleft parameters beyond the ICA.
